Objective of MBA Programme


The objective of our MBA programme is in alignment with the institute’s vision i.e., is to develop into a World Class Center for Management Education. Our MBA programme thrives to educate and prepare the students from a wide variety of backgrounds with essential business skills needed to effectively manage and lead organizations. Upon the completion of the MBA programme the students will develop an understanding of the diverse and rapidly changing global business environment and will possess the necessary skills to identify professional issues in a variety of contexts. Hands-on learning experiences combined with practical classroom instruction provide students with the essential business skills to apply decision-making techniques, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis to management issues.

(ii) Affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. The only Technical University of the state.



Admission Procedures:


Master of Business Administration(MBA)-2 Years Full Time.


Duration: MBA Programme under BPUT is of two years duration. Each year shall be divided into two semesters. First and Third semester shall ordinarily begin in July and end in November. Second and fourth Semester shall begin in December and end in April.


Eligibility: The eligibility for admission to MBA Programme of the University shall be same as the one decided by AICTE from time to time.[the minimum Qualification for admission is any graduates from UGC-approved Indian universities with 50% marks in aggregate [45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category]


Entrance Examination: Candidate aspiring for admission into MBA Course, must have qualified in any one of the following entrance examination .

CAT/MAT/XAT/C-MAT/ATMA/OJEE.


Selection Process: GDPI/OJEE Counselling.


Grading System:


A Seven Point grading system of base of 10 shall be followed in the University. Categorization of the grades and their correlation shall be as under.

Evaluation of Theory Papers: The performance of a candidate in a theory subject shall be evaluated based on following Components

Evaluation will be done by a Committee of teachers where the project supervisor will be a member. For Major projects an external expert shall be involved.
